Housing in Malaga
Lugar. Malaga, Spain.
In collaboration with Cesar Patin Lapausa The design consists in sewing a group of isolated pieces in a residential block within a single unitary fabric. Among those pieces, we fi nd an archeological site, several buildings of differing quality and state of preservation, some free space and a void area. The proposal plans a lineal body that links all of them. Climatic wrapping. The enclosures that shape the lineal body will be built as a combination of prefabricated u-shaped concrete pieces and large glass windows.We have considered a building typology the enclosures of which can become the system of cupboards in the house, so that the great isolation produced by cupboards would compensate for the losses generated by big cavities. Thus, the coats and clothes of its dwellers would cover the house. In addition, the prefabrication of these U-shaped pieces creates the uniformity that joins all the pieces aimed from the beginning. |
